I currently have a 2010 Case IH Farmall 45 HST with ROPS that I'm fairly happy with. I'd like more tractor (who wouldn't), but it gets the job done. My only problem with it is that it has no quick attach for the FEL or a 3rd function remote . My dilemma is this, should I add a quick attach and 3rd function for roughly $3,000 or should I just trade new for a 65hp (or something in that range) with power shuttle shift that comes with both of these options? I'm wanting to add a grapple this year and hopefully a TB-1 or Lane Shark by next spring. It seems like the market is so crazy right now on used that I could possibly sale my current tractor and purchase a new Mahindra 65hp with these options plus a grapple for not much more than what it would take to upgrade my current tractor. I'm not sold on a Mahindra either, but I really don't want to deal with DEF on another brand. I could also probably get a tax break on the new model since it would be classified as new farm equipment that I could depreciate.
