I have a B7500 with the old round headlights that do not produce alot of light and was thinking of upgrading to the B7510/7610 headlights. It looks like the whole plastic front peice that holds the headlights in should be universal between the 2 series of tractors. The metal hood and plastic headlight frames look like they should interchange. Does anybody know if this will work? Part number/price? I think that the new style headlights are much brighter and better for night mowing. Any thoughts?

You'll "pass" a concrete block once you do get the ##'s and price! I broke the clear headlight lens out of my B3030 and wanted a new one ( wrongo !!) the whole front assy..from lens to lens with the plastic piece that goes between them ( now..for a short pause...the clear lens IS removeable...but you CANT BUY THAT!!) set me back more than $150.oo........

Doesn't the 3030 have the slanted hood as the 7510 does not. I think the 3030 headlights are different. I could be worng though. That is expensive!

I took the B7800 head light assembly out thinking I could drop some halogens in it.
Not any way I could see to do so. They seem to be sealed.

Adam23 - A less expensive alternative would be to replace your OEM 15 watt bulbs with 50 watt bulbs, as shown in the link below:

I have been using 50 watt Blazer (which used to be available locally) bulbs in my 2003 B7500 for several years. IMHO, the 50 watt bulbs provide significantly more light, although I do not use the tractor much at night.

If you have plastic headlights I would be very careful going from a 15w halogen to a 50w halogen. Halogen bulbs generate very high temperatures, a 50w could possibly produce 3x the heat you light was make to handle. Really only one way to find out.

Just mount a new light on the hood. Disconnect the original ones and use their plug in for the new one.:D

Ray66v - The A701 is incandescent, not halogen, but 50 watts is more heat. My headlight lenses are plastic. So far no sign of damage to the lenses, reflectors, hood. Again, I do not use the lights much.

How much were these Blazer bulbs and where is a good place to get them. Are they a direct plug-in?
