Upgrading again, if not divorced first.

Life is short, go for it. Just be sure to call it "our" tractor. I've always told my wife "our" first tractor is a "starter" so it's getting close to upgrading time on "our" JD 4300.

Does this really work?? Will it work on attachments as well?? :confused2:

I bought the BX25 a few years ago and it was a nice little tractor, two years ago I traded it in for the B3200 with BH. Whelp, now I am thinking I would like the L4240 with BH. I really don't need it, it's more of a want as I would like to get back to an independant PTO and the HST Plus looks handy. The lift capacity on the Loader and 3PH is so much better and the digging force is awesome also. I can't see needing a bigger Grand L as the only diference is the horse power once you get to the 4240. God I hope I don't want the M series in a couple years.

Remember, it's always easier to "beg forgiveness" than to "ask permission"! :thumbsup:

Like Ken, we traded from a CK25 to a CK35, but the loader on the new one was weak. So I "braved the elements" and upgraded to the DK40. Seriously, it was worth the grief. (Actually, she said "if you're gonna whine for the next 10 years, then get the 40 and be done with it")! :cool2: DONE!

I added an M4700 to my B7610, I think they will get along well.

Explain the Pro's and Con's of the situation. Convince your Wife that the Positive side outweighs the Negative side. In the end, if She thinks that it is Her idea, she will most certainly approve the trade.
