Thanks for the advice for the upper hydraulic link. I also see that the piston from http://www.ccmachinery.com/TNT.htm
has a check valve. I am waiting for info on how to order and what the shipping would be.
Thanks for the advice. Does anyone have experience with this company??
Thanks
ALLAN

There are plenty of people here on TBN who have purchased HTL's and full TNT setups from Carter & Carter including myself. You cannot go wrong purchasing from them. Mark Carter (CCI) is a regular poster here and CCM has excellent customer service.

Agree with Mad,
They are great to work with. You'll need to pick the correct length of the cylinder in it's closed position to get the best tilting movements in both directions. Here it is tilted up for ripper use.

I should have mine soon. Ordered it a while ago and was starting to wonder why I hadn't received it. Today received a call from CCM telling me that they had received notice that UPS had damaged the package and lost my top link. Another one is on the way.

Great company to work with. It's the way a company handles problems that is the true test.

The first one they sent me had a faulty weld on it and the end popped of first time I used it. I called Mark and he sent another one out THAT DAY to replace it and included postage to send the faulty one back.
Super good service...no complaints at all.

WOW. but the fixed it fast thats the main thing.I wont be detered because of a bad weld then.looks like my backhoe piston that I broke. I beveled and welded it . But when it new, you dont do that kind of thing..
Did yours break soon after getting it?
Im still waiting for an e-mail on the shipping price.

Yes, first time I started moving the cylinder back and forth. Like I said, when I told them what happened, they put another cylinder in the mail that day and when I got it, I mailed the faulty one back. They sent a call slip for the bad one.

Thanks, I now see my question was answered with the first post.
I was wondering, I am still awaiting email info as to the shipping , is it better to contact via phone?

I would think so. You will get to talk to someone directly.

Bedlam,
It's always better to contact by phone because you can always ask more question that are on your mind. Also, sometimes an email may get overlooked...not saying they do that, but I do on occasion? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Talk to them, they are very personable and they'll answer your questions.
