Snowblower Urethane Snow Blower Edge

I have an Erskine pull behind snow blower with a Urethane cutting edge. I'm on my 3rd winter with this unit and I'm noticing that the edge is wearing a concave dish right in the center portion of it. It's about 8" long and a 1/2" higher, than the rest of the blade, right at the high point of the dish. This is located right under the blower fan. I haven't figured out why this is occurring. I'm thinking that I'd like to take the edge off in the spring and cut the edge straight across on my table saw to take out the dish. The material is 3/4" thick. Has anyone cut Urethane like this and if so, what type of saw blade did you use. Any other suggestions for cutting Urethane?

Same thing happens to my snow shovels. I assume its because of the ends being better supported & the middle flexing & dragging more. My plow's cutting edge is wearing faster on the left side. I assume because its the leading part taking the bumps first. Such is life. Those parts are made to be replaceable for a reason, they are designed to take the abuse then get replaced. A few seasons isn't to bad if you use it a lot.

I'd run it until you need to flip it (not sure if you can like a plow edge) then replace it when that wears out. Does it leave a corresponding bit of uncleared snow? I'd bet not as the lowest part will wear off quicker.

I've cut that stuff with a bandsaw using a band meant for wood, sort of a medium tooth count. Someone mentioned to me that I should try a plywood blade for a table saw, but I haven't tried that. You can purchase replacements, cut to any custom size, from Fall Line out of Reno, NV.
