If you write a letter, they will probably auction it all off.

Yeah, sarcasm noted......and I'm not under any illusion that it will ever change.

I just thought I would point out that most all Federally held land is done so illegally.

Just part of the problem of creeping Federalism, and why they will control every aspect of our lives eventually. Like Kudzu, they are never going away.

Hey, folks, it's free enterprise!! No need for regulations regarding frolics and pretty photos!

If regulated, the price of frolics and pretty photos would be prohibitive...but that would be unconstitutional...restriction of the right to pursue happiness...as mentioned in the Declaration of Independence.....

Well, can you tell me if this is free enterprise.

The data aggregators sell the private information they gather to anyone who will buy it. So a hacker buys YOUR private information, hacks YOUR computer and steal YOUR identity resulting in loss of thousands of dollars and years of grief.

Would that be free enterprise?

Libertarians claim that the Federal income tax is illegal, too. That will end right after the auction of non-essential Federal land.

to many stories over the years, of local farmers around here, going back and checking on crops and/or livestock, and running across some sort of illegal drug setup. and having to deal with police in order to have it removed. this was on there land. let alone public land. poaching issues as well. and if you live next to one given neighbor, it is hard saying type of dumping going on. it was just given some type of dumping was gong on.

it is a pain in rear to deal with these issues. having a camera and/or video. is a big plus.

day and age of internet has gone by, so has age of cell phone... has the day and age of video gone by? or is it still slowly building?

It really doesn't bother me. It's just another tool to manage property. I admit that I don't understand the concern about it. But that probably verges on political, so I will not comment on it.

I think the folks that are ticked about closed federal lands the most are the ones that have been taking advantage of cheap grazing on government land for generations, which amounts to federal (we the people) subsidation of their choice of how to make a living.
