And tomorrow, I'm going to hire a rainmaker so that I can stop having to go out and water every day. Probably would cost a lot less for the rain man. LOL John

What difference does it make if your possesions are bombarded by hail or birds and airplanes?

How about just building a garage or barn -- cheaper and works without having to Stop Hail.

Just wait 6 months,I'm sure you'll be able to buy one of these at Wal-Mart for under a $100 once they move production out of the USA!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

What gets me is the item is used. That means some one actually bought it. The pictures are not coming up for me to even see what it actually is but I am laughing my a$$ off.

Don't know about this guy but a recent article in our paper had the new Nissan plant installing several large anti-hail systems in their holding lots. The susposedly run on propane and according to the folks living around the area are as noisy as a cannon. When ever there is a thunderstorm in the area these things light off. The article also states that the company that sold them warrants that no cars will be damaged by hail or they will pay for damage.

We have had permits for as many as 16 Hail Cannons here in Colorado. In fact we have one near here. Can't say whether it works or not but it sure is loud. A Google search for "Hail Cannon"
shows a lot of info.

I don't know but was taught that hail is formed by updrafts in thunderstorms and if strong enough can be thrown out over 30 miles away. You can have hail when the sun is shineing where you are. I don't see how this would work in cases like that. I know a guy that was over 30 miles from a t-storm flying a twin cessna and got hit with baseball size hail. He was lucky to make it down. He lost part of a prop, windshield, several holes in the leading edge of the wings. He said the sun was shining when all hell broke loose. he was flying around it to stay out of trouble he thought.
