Use tow hook?

Best idea I've seen for that is a nylon rope woven through the chain links so it doesn't get in the way.

Sure you can weld! You may not have a welder, and you may have never tried it, BUT you CAN weld. It is well within your capabilities, and besides that it is fun!

Here are my additions for pulling or lifting. I think good common sense plays a big part in safety. The little Kubota mower is just parked between the loader frames.

I bought the adapter at Menards its called a step bumper hitch I think. I have also seen them at Harbor freight they run between 15 and 25 bucks. Every now and then you see the exact same one for about 40 somewhere not sure what they're thinking. Yes I welded mine on but it would be no problem to drill and bolt it also as long as you have a flat surface. I came up with the idea because I was thinking about putting a winch on my tractor and decided I will just go with a hitch mounted winch instead in this will give me another mounting point for it. Another thing that it works out great for is I can pick up three point attachments just by looking the ball underneath the top of the attachment as long as there's a pin in it and roll the bucket back.

Well, I guess I could weld, given some instruction, and a welder. I guess I could also take the bucket off the loader, and take it in somewhere to get welding done. It's all just time and effort..
Tman, is the hook already on the hitch receiver, or did you weld it on also? I need to go by Menards for other stuff already, so I'll be looking for this.

No I welded the hook on to it but you could just have the hook welded on the hitch first then bolt it to your bucket. Or they make all different kinds of slide in drawbars including some with different kinds of hooks.

I have a QA reciever hitch for the front and a 3pt one (doubles as a hay spear) for the back. The best prices I found were Titan Equipment. They have several sites and sell on ebay. I scored big on the front reciever hitch through one of their many auctions.

I use mine to move my trailers around the lot. Really makes it easy.
