Used Antifreeze for Tire Fill

What about putting a few gallons of RV antifreeze in each tire and then filling the rest of the tire with water? I hear RV antifreeze is environmentally friendly.

There is environmentally friendly antifreeze for both RV use and automotive use. It is available at most auto stores. You don't need to fill the whole tire with pure antifreeze just like you don't fill your radiator with pure antifreeze. I did mine about 10 years ago and have never had a problem. There are numbers of threads on the forum as to how to do it at home with a simple inexpensive valve.

Regular antifreeze tastes sweet to animals and affects the liver in a very bad way. It is not a pleasant death for the animal.

There's no weight advantage over straight water using RV antifreeze or windshield washer solution.

It's not a weight issue it's a freeze protection matter.
