Price Check Used b2400 fair price?? Need help!

A john deere dealer has a used B2400 with a La357 loader, hydro, power steering.
It has 860 hrs on it. Its a nice clean tractor that a home owner had. Is this alot of hrs? I believe its a 1998.
The dealer said the guy had some bigger projects and bought a bigger unit. They want $9100 for it. I'm really not sure what a fair price is for it. I really wanted a bigger tractor but in all reality its probally all I need. I have just under 2 acres and some projects of my own. I will most likely do light land scapeing for others. Would like a 4' brush hog and roto tiller also. What do you guys think? I'm going to try it out tommorrow.

I purchased my 1998 B2400 2 years ago with 852hrs on it. Mine was equipped with HST, Bi-Speed Turn and a 60"MMM. Price was $9995. I also purchased a new LA352 loader with it adding approx $3200 to the price. I would say that the price is fair and you didn't mention if it came with a MMM. If so then I would say it's a good deal.
You'll have no trouble with the 4ft rotary mower behind it and you may even get by with a 5 footer if what your mowing isn't real thick. I also use a 5FT King Kutter box scraper behind mine and have had good luck with it.

that seems like a fair price, and 800 hours is not excessive for an 8 year old tractor. my B2400 handels all of my 9 acres with the exception on some trees and stumps i would like to yank.
