Used B7300, what to look for?

Any particular problems to note?
Going to check one out today. It is equipped with a FEL and a snowblower.

Does it have power steering? Without a FEL that probably wouldn't be a big deal on that size tractor. With a FEL it might. Maybe someone who has a tractor that size with a FEL and no power steering will respond. Even better is if you can test drive it with a bucket full.

Reasonable machine? Primary use would be blowing snow, occasional loader use in the winter for snow piles.

Wish I could help but when you say "blowing snow" a Mississippian might think you are up to no good. :thumbsdown: We don't immediately associate that phrase with frozen water. :laughing:

I don't know if you would want one with a loader and no power steering, course it would be good exercise and you would have arms like popeye after awhile.

I decided against this tractor. It seemed like a fine running machine, but not heavy enough and lacking the hp to handle heavy snow.
The current owner is trading up in size for this very reason, and I don't want to be in his shoes wishing I bought the a larger tractor in a year or two.
Other people in the area are happy with the performance of large B series and L series Kubotas and other makes of similar size - so that's what I'm looking at as well.

If you do not have power steering a counter weight is pretty much mandatory. The heavier the better. With a 400 lb counter weight your steering will become pleasant with a bucket of dirt.
