Looking for used compact for our small horse farm. (Don't have a lot of $, never heard that before, have you?) First tractor, though husband has worked on MF (gas) a few years back. And our truck is diesel.
Going to look at a B8200 4wd , hi/lo 3 speed w 5' loader, rigger box, 5' scrape box with tines, canopy, ROPS, 1058 hours. $6400
I do not know whether it has power steering or not (haven't called yet). (Does that come on this model usually?)
What say ye?
I have read the reviews on the 8200 here (thanks) and know that the 19 hp is a bit less than some like. I have a couple 24,25 hp Yanmars out there to look at also, but 2 -3 hours drives away.
Another question -- will this handle a 4' bush hog well? Another guy I talked to discouraged me from his smaller JD, as he said I would need about 24 hp to pull a 4' bush hog on a tractor with a FEL.
Thanks all.
