Kubota, AGCO, New Holland LB
After my exhaustive search for a 60" or 72" MMM tractor, I settled on a nice clean, used BX2200 with 525 hours with 60" MMM from my local dealer.

He is changing all the fluids/filters, cleaned it, and will install the upgraded seat for $50. Tractor was definately stored inside-paint looks great, tires are in good condition, nothing missing, bent or broken.

Are there any modifications that need to be made, any tricks, tips, suggestions ?

Thanks

As I just found (see BX24 newbie thread) grease the zerk under the floor mat. My pedal was sticky and this hadn't been touched in a long while despite recent dealer service.

Buy a couple of spare air filter brackets, be prepared for steering lines to go soon, some leak at the fuel sender (stored with tank full) and check front axle pivots for leakage.

Known minor issues, overall a great tractor.

Congratulations

The air filter brackets were just replaced with what I think is an upgraded version(s).

The front axle was rebuilt with a new center section recently (looks like new) by the previous owner. I'll look over the steering lines when she arrives this week.

Thanks!

All good points. If the power steering hoses have not been replaced, find some down time and do it on your schedule, because it will need to be done (I did one pair at 750 hours and the other pair at around a thousand hours.)

So far I'd give it a 9 out of 10 for meeting my expectations.
I use it to cut my own lawn and a couple 10 acre "rough lawns" and they let the grass get high. It blows through thick high grass with no problems.
