Snow Attachments Used Erskin Front Mount Snow Blower

I am looking at a used front mount Erskin 60" Snow Blower for my L3130. This one uses the rear pto and has a frame which travels under the tractor. Seems to be a really nice setup. It has hydraulic chute control. Can anyone tell me much about these blowers. How well do they move snow? How are they to put on and off. I may want to use my loader during the winter as well. This one is in excellent condition. Any idea what would be a good/fair price?

We have a few out but on bigger tractors and they do blow good.. The only problem you might have is rear ground clearence. Unlike the mid mount factory units they protrude out the rear quite a bit.

Thank's Art. Everything I have read on the net is very positive about the Erskine blowers so I picked it up last night. It is the model 600-FM. I may need some advice hooking up the hydraulics. The P.O. had the lift control on the rear remotes and the hydraulic chute control was on a valve similar to a loader valve (which I also got) but is only 2 way left or right. I'd like to use my loader valve with the quick attach for both the chute control and lift control. Anyone using their loader valve for both chute and lift control.

I'm looking forward to blowing snow this winter with a front mount snow blower.

I have a 7 foot erskine front mount that came with my JD 5410. I really don't want it, I would rather have a rear mount, and keep my loader on. It has maybe 100 hours on it, and it is in mint condition. Any takers? any idea what I should be asking??
