Used hydraulic fluid???

Are there any practical uses for used hydraulic fluid? Can it be used as bar lubricant on a chainsaw maybe? If not, any other potential uses?? This stuff is expensive and seems a shame to just pour it down the drain. If no ideas, I'll just head to the recycle center and dispose of it properly.

I like to save what hydraulic oil I accumulate for my waste oil stove in the garage/shop for bitter cold winter weather. Helps used engine oil Flow better in the gravity feed system I have. It works good for bar/chain oil in the same weather for the same reason flows easier. Not so good in warmer weather though.

I use it for bar lube. It runs out faster than regular chain bar oil but it gets used and rid of.
