Used John Deere value on a 5500 with a FEL

There is a 5500 with a FEL for sale locally. I was wondering what the used value of it might be in Good condition with 1085 hours on it. All metal is straight and the FEL appears to work good. Tractor appears to have been kept indoors. Date on the wheels indicate made in 1996 but I could be wrong. Anybody know when these were made ? Also, any common problems to look at on it ?

TractorData.com says manufactured 1995-1997. However, I could not find any info in Primedia Used Tractor Guide for any year but 1997. It lists a price range for the tractor alone at $17,730 in fair cond., $19,190 in good cond., and $20,150 in excellent cond. These do not include a loader.

Thanks for checking on that.
I called the number for the one I saw. They want $25,000 for it. I'd say that's a bit much for my tastes. Maybe $20,000 would be ok. We'll see if it sells. Maybe in a couple of months it'll still be there and then I can offer them something less for it.
