Used M8580 door

Greetings-

Had a door/brace post interaction going through a gate leaving me with a less than useful left door. Does anyone know of a salvage yard which might sell used Kubota cab parts?

You should try West Kentucky Tractor Parts, they have a lot of Kubota pieces available.

Finding a used one might be a long shot. For a M8580 to be in a salvage yard it would likely have been in a fire or maybe hit by a train, both hard on cabs. Did Kubota make the cab? They looked like Laurin's models of that time period. Any chance of straightening the door and replacing the glass?

Thank you for the insights-will check with Kentucky Salvage. Currently have a welder that is sizing up the damage to see if feasable to use press to straighten it out and then put Kubota purchased glass in it. Of course these type of accidents stretch the metal and once stretched doesn't always close or lock well.

One of my cab doors was bent too - it didn't close or fit the seal. I took out the glass and then cold twisted the door back to shape - got everything to fit right, then reinstalled the glass. Worked great. The door seal is pliable and the glass channel rubber is somewhat forgiving too. If you can get the door near flat (within 1/8") a local glass shop may be able to cut & fit a new tempered 1/4" window for a reasonable price.
