Safety interlocks problems ...
I wouldn't have even considered that on such a low hours tractor!
Really somewhat surprised this could even be an issue since the interlock should be almost bullet proof (just for product liabilty reasons alone).

I know what you mean Roy. The dealer knew right away what was going on , so I'm thinking its a pretty common problem. I can live with it for now, but I'm told it could get worse. Adjustment is said to be easy. Thanks for the reply. Kent

Yeah...but if it can go out of adjustment one way...can't it do the same the other way?

We make a plastic housing for an automotive clutch interlock switch (the switch that requires your clutch be fully depressed to start the car). A minor amount of flash (technically, within the drawing specs) caused some switches to stick (which would allow the vehicle to start without the clutch being depressed). We got nailed big time by our customer...paid for quite a few replacementys and installations.
Reckon any interlock problems making it to the field without being recalled, surprises me...

Hey Roy, Sorry about not updating you gentlemen, but I've been playing Oh I mean working with my Tractor. Also I've got a problem that showed up also. I'm going to post in the owning forum as soon as I finish typing this. I moved a topsoil pile twice, and my wife's compost pile at least three times. Also played( I mean worked) on the driveway. Thanks again for all the help, the PTO levers are definitely the problem with starting, and will be adjusted. Kent
