Used Tiller

Have never owned or used a tiller before but with our new property I'd love to have a nice size garden as well as use it to help break up some ground before leveling.

Anything in particular to look for in a used tiller? Have a 4 footer for sell locally. Looks for sure older but owner says works great. Asking $450 which after looking at new ones appears to be a good price IF it doesn't quit the first time I hook it up.

Same as a small tiller. Check the tines. If worn badly (pointed instead of squared off, it could be an expensive replacement. Check the gear case for leaks and the drive for excess slack.

Not much to go wrong with a PTO tiller.
