Hi,

I have a shot at a CH140F that's been used maybe an hour; it's basically new. The price is $3k. Thoughts on this price? Thoughts on this chipper?

Thanks

That's about half the current price, so if it's in good share it's a steal. The 140 is direct drive off the PTO, so it rotates a bit slower than the 150/160/170 which have step-up pullies.

I've had both a manual feed 150 and now a hydraulic feed 160. They are excellent chippers. Very smooth operation and very uniform chips. I've set a can of soda on my 160 while I work and it doesn't even vibrate off.
