Used ZD21

I am looking at a 2003 ZD21-60" pro deck - 485 hours.
It was used commercially for 2 years.
Any opinions as to the value of this machine??

Just had a new ZD 21 delivered to try out yesterday. With the 0% financing, its hard to beat a new one.

I was quoted $9000 (after the $400 rebate) on the new one, I'd guess not more than $4500 for one that has been used commercially for two years. Barely broke in, but I'd still be cautious.

I think that $4500 would be a good price.

$400 rebate?? I didn't know about that.
Dealers around here are asking $9,900 - 10,400 for the ZD21's. Will your dealer deliver to Ar-Kansas? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

They might, but I got the last ZD he had in stock. I don't think he'll have anymore 'til spring. I had looked at a ZD28 he had in stock a couple of weeks ago, but by the time I made up my mind, he'd sold it. I'll give this a try and see how I like it, can always trade up next year /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

I think the 0% has really moved these machines over the last month, getting kind of hard to find. Might make the deal on the used one sound even better, if the price is right.

I think you will find these will sell for $6500 to $7500 especially with the Pro deck. I have seen a few on Ebay go for just over $8000 in excellent condition with less than 300 hours. If it looks like it has been taken care of that would make a big difference to me. Just make sure it has the ROPS on it. Some of them for some reason did not come with them.
