I'm restoring an early 70's Land Rover and wanted to drive it around after finishing the mechanical portion. Welded up some tube, drilled a few holes (not in the Rover) and voila!

NICE!!

I was just thinking this week what I was going to do with my old seat -- haven't come up with anything yet.

I wish I still had mine. The new one put me too far back from the wheel and it seems to want to rotate too much with the Woods seat attachment.

Scrounger, I don't think you'll have a problem finding an old seat on this forum :)

Should I fit a 5 pt harness with an anti-sub strap with the roll cage?
It wont accelarate or slow down that fast but safety first.
How do you like the temporary fuel filler cap-a shop rag shoved into the top of the fuel tank.
I called it a "Wick".
( Now has a rubber cap over the pipe with a clamp-the rag was just to keep stuff from accidentally sloshing out or falling in.)

LOL!! Nice! If you want to condition yourself to the final product you should move that seat. It looks WAY to comfy where it is. I think the stock rover format would have the seat about 1 foot forward of where that one is:D
