1986 John Deere 430 garden tractor 60" deck
This is my 1st post. I just bought a 1986 John Deere 430 Garden tractor. I know lots of folks up north use them with snowblowers and a hydraulic snowblade made by John Deere for the JD430. We don't need snow blowers in the south, but I wanted to know if any of you have use this hydraulic blade for grading and moving dirt.

They are not a bulldozer, but they will move some dirt. Especially useful for spreading dirt and leveling an area. Not so great if a truck load of dirt is dumped and needs to be spread out, or if unplowed dirt needs to be moved. Backfilling a trench and things like that, they work good.
