I finally got my 1520 home with a fresh new carburetor and a tune up. Mowed for about an hour tonight and it worked great. I wasn't sure how this 40 year old tractor would work. I'd only used much newer tractors. It works great and is pretty easy to use. Looking forward to doing a bunch more with it in the near future. Thanks for all the help and advice given to my previous threads:thumbsup:

Glad to hear you got the old girl back to work, enjoy! I had a 2030 gas that I sold to get a 2030 diesel. 2030 gas was using too much fuel compared to a 2030 diesel.

10-4 that, I was actually thinking last night I hope the gas gauge works.

THe fuel guage on my 2030 diesel is not dampened very well. It's fine when idling, but at PTO rpm it dances all around. I usally check fuel level when I start and top off if it's low.

What is a power reverser? I've heard of that, but I don't know what it means. So far I really like my tractor. It can do a lot of things a newer one can at 10% of the purchase price.
