Yep, with the HST pedal and the FEL control, it's a tight fit, which is why I always exit to the left. I suppose if the FEL controls were on the loader upright there'd be more room, but I think having to reach out to the controls would be much less convenient.

Mike, I'm really glad you posted those pictures. I wasn't completely sure how much modification it would require for Mosey to use the rear remotes, but your picture shows the loader quick-connects are mid-mounted just in front of your hydro pedal. If Mosey wants to use his rear remotes, he will have to provide extra hoses with female quick connects on one end and males on the other. In addition, he would have to find a way to route those lines so they would stay out of the way of the 3PH and the underbelly mechanincals...not to mention ensuring they aren't handy for brush to snag. My point is that he would probably spend as much money rerouting the lines as he would to buy the factory joystick control for his tractor. If the joystick handle is in a bad location, I think I would look at getting someone to put a couple of additional bends in the handle, or maybe get someone to completely fabricate one that is not so easy to bump when exiting to the right. Do you think the handle could be shortened? Would it be much harder to operate? ...just my thoughts.

Thanks everyone for your input on this. I have a much better idea of the tradeoffs now. I'll keep pondering this for a while. Mike, thanks for the pictures. I was at my dealer last weekend and he didn't have any TC's with loaders for me to look at and I was close to another dealer this weekend and drove 15 miles out of my way hoping to see one there, but he didn't have any either. So, the pictures are a big help!

The piece that intrudes on exit space is the black plastic cover that conceals the hydro connections to the joystick. This cover drapes down the fender reducing egress space. Modifications to the joystick itself might help a little.

TCs on a dealer's lot not having loaders installed seems common. When I bought my TC25D, the only TC that had a loader on it was a used TC18. None of the new TCs had anything installed on them. Given the amount of work it takes to install an implement like a FEL or MMM, I'm not surprised the dealers don't do this by default, but you would think they would have at least one to show customers.
