Hi all,
When we moved farms, the new farm came with a Farmliner 445, which is a UTB take on a Fiat 450 I believe.
Needed a lot of work, only working gauge was the fuel gauge, most things sprung to life after replacing all the corroded or burnt out fuses, and giving the tractor a bit of love over the xmas break. Still need to verify if the temp gauge is now working.
However there are a few wires that were found to be disconnected, and I'm not sure what the reasoning was, or where they go. I was hoping there might be someone with the same model tractor that could help me out?
There is one on top of the engine, wrapped around the fuel rail, that has a red/black wire, and a red/blue wire, and only the red/blue wire is attached to some sensor, maybe it is the temp sensor? According to the wiring diagram (which might not be correct), this should be the red/black wire. In any case, why would one be disconnected, where would it go?
The other 2 wires are under the fuse box, and one is quite thick. They appear to both be red with a yellow stripe, but quite faded and hard to tell. One has a spade terminal on the end. The wiring diagram doesn't give up any clues on this one, can anyone please help?
If anyone has a workshop manual for this model it would be great too, can't seem to find anything on the net. The parts catalog that came with the tractor is dated mid-90's, so I'm guessing that is the vintage of this tractor.
