I have a Yanmar SC2400 being delivered this week. It is my first tractor. I just sold my ZT mower since I moved and the new property is mostly fields, plus I wanted more capabilities. I own a Yanmar Vio excavator so I am somewhat familiar with their diesel engine and hydraulics. I know enough to know that I never had to do much other than change filters and fluids. Looking forward to getting some work done!

I got the SC2400 because it was the best deal for me at the time and seems to have all the stuff I wanted and more. I was all set to snap one up from the orange/green dealers who are 3-5 miles away and take advantage of the 0%. I even had my wife encouraging me to do just that but I don't like new equipment because it's too shiny. I feel bad putting that first use on it, I prefer lightly used. She was annoyed that I wanted to buy used and puzzled why it wasn't orange/green and some "weird" make, (I guess she never looked at the name on my excavator) but when I explained who they are and what they do, who they build for, etc. she was good.
