Yanmar SC2400
I have a Yanmar SC2400 being delivered this week. It is my first tractor. I just sold my ZT mower since I moved and the new property is mostly fields, plus I wanted more capabilities. I own a Yanmar Vio excavator so I am somewhat familiar with their diesel engine and hydraulics. I know enough to know that I never had to do much other than change filters and fluids. Looking forward to getting some work done!

Thanks all for the warm welcome. I notice there are a few camps in the tractor world. Yanmar seems like more neutral territory. :) I got the SC2400 because it was the best deal for me at the time and seems to have all the stuff I wanted and more. I was all set to snap one up from the orange/green dealers who are 3-5 miles away and take advantage of the 0%. I even had my wife encouraging me to do just that but I don't like new equipment because it's too shiny. I feel bad putting that first use on it, I prefer lightly used. She was annoyed that I wanted to buy used and puzzled why it wasn't orange/green and some "weird" make, (I guess she never looked at the name on my excavator) but when I explained who they are and what they do, who they build for, etc. she was good.
My tractor is being delivered tomorrow, I will find out soon if I made a wise decision or not.
Cheers!

I think I scored!
I had only seen pictures of this machine, but it is in excellent shape. It looks like it was only ever used to cut grass and the SB52 looks like it only has a handfull of hours on it. The FEL might have carried a few buckets of dirt or mulch...maybe. The protective film on the arm logo was still in place! One tire needed air and one rear signal lens is cracked, other than that it looks new. I ran it though some thick wet grass and it blasted right through it no problem. It is a 2012 so post CC break and cost me 1/3 of what a similar setup new would have been from one of the O/G delaers in town. However, I really have no use for the SB52 so I owuldn't have bought it otherwise. It might have come in handy maybe 3-4 times in last 10 years. Now I hope we get a few blizzards!!!
