vacuum for rear discharge

Hi, I have a Deere 1565 mower with a rear discharge I really love. The problem is I can't get a vacuum for it because everything works off a side discharge collector. Does anyone know of a vacumm or attachment for one that works on a pull behind that just sucks up the grass? Several companies make walk behinds that do just that, but my yard it too big for that. There are a few companies that make commercial units but $10k plus is out of my price range.

There are none that I know of that are not over the 10,000. dollar range.

Why don't you modify a residential side discharge, It would have to be one with it's own power (engine). You would have to modify the attaching part and duct to clear for lifting the deck, but I think it could be done.

Yeah, that is my next step if a can't find one. There are several fabrication places around that could probably do it with enough time.

Trust this link copied fully. It is at Northern Tool and there is another company who has one much like this one. You may have to build the boot to connect to your discharge. kt

If your still serious about doing this invest in the large Cyclone Rake model and have a sheet metal or welding shop fabricate a wide but narrow width nozzle that is connected to the impeller fans suction hose and have them build you a bracket to hang on the rear of the tractor to suck up the clippings as you mow.
