Need help. I am trying to set the valve clearance for my Iseki TL2301D. Does anyone out there know what gap numbers to use? Or a procedure to follow if the clearance is unknown? Here is some additional information. The block has two sets of large numbers cast into it. The first line reads "50". The second line reads "84 5 16". This does not match with any other engine numbers I keep hearing on the forum. Also, I was told the tractor is a 1985 model.
Also, if you know the clearance for any of the tl2301's or tl2300's It would be good to post it. They might all be the same.
Thank you for your consideration
Hello, I just got my answer today(9/25). .011-.012 for both intake and exhaust, set cold.
I got it from Ron, with "just tractor parts". He's an old timer who knows his stuff.
additionally, I was told the engine block number I cited above is just the casting mold number. For a TL2301 the engine number is 3AE1-B01.
Also, for those with a TL2300 tractor, I was told the engine number is a E3AE1-BB.
