I have the service manual for the 2T72 engine, and I have adjusted valves on both of my 1110D's to the specifications, but I can't remember what they are off hand. I'll try to remember to check tonight.
The procedure is very simple - each of the rocker arms has an adjustment screw with jam nut. Remove the valve cover - just two bolts on top. Make sure the cylinder is at top dead center, then loosen the jam nut, stick your feeler gauge between the rocker arm and valve stem, adjust the screw so the feeler guage slips in and out with just a little resistance, then tighten the jam nut. Turn engine until the other cylinder is at top dead center, and repeat the process.
You might want to get a new valve cover gasket, since it is just a rubber o-ring and usually breaks when you remove the valve cover. I also found that even a new gasket will leak, so I put a thin layer of rtv on the gasket (o-ring) before putting it in the groove in the cover. That seems to take care of the leak.
Incidentally, my YM1110D at full throttle is quieter than my 16hp lawn tractor (B&S v-twin). I think it is probably the quietest and smoothest 2 cyl diesel I have encountered.
P.S. If you are interested, I attached a photo of what my 2T72 looked like at one point...
