valve lock on 402 loader ?

K B7800 402 Loader owners manual a little vague on the lock unlock position. Does it need to move when not in operation ?

I assume you mean the small lever that can be positioned in the locked or unlocked position. I have owned my B7800 for 5 years and have never locked the loader controls. It would probably be important if you have children or remove the loader from the tractor(?)

That lock does not move on it's own if that is what you are asking. It is locked when moved away from the tractor and prohibits the use of the loader. I used mine when the tractor was stationary and I had something hanging on the loader. I wanted no chance of bumping the loader control in any way.
