My 2020 valves started leaking after I added some air last month. So yesterday I took out the old stems which were in pretty sad shape. I had to use the 'remover' with a bit of added force from some channel locks, but was real careful and used a lot of WD40, running them in and out until I got them removed. I put new ones in, but they are probably from some old bicycle tubes, all I had around. Is there a special valve for calcium filled tubes? I've read that some change them yearly just for this reason. I took a 17 cal. brass brush and cleaned out the inner part of the stem good with wd40. They went in fine and seem not to be leaking but I want to make sure I'm doing it right. It sorta looks like there's a 2 part stem on the tube? And one of the rims has a pretty bad rusty hole at the valve. Can the rims be repaired if they get too bad?
