Is this okay for my tractor? They have this at the tractor supply so I grabbed it. I am happy to take it back if it will cause any problems. Picked up all the filters from a dealer so they are all AGCO. I need to get some hydraulic fluid but that’s for tomorrow.

It's good stuff. No worries.

Up there you may want to keep a lighter weight oil for winter time.
Unless you keep it inside.
In that case carry on.
15w45 travellors is my choice.
Same with the hydro fluid but that's just me.
You can spend your money any way you like.

The Valvoline should be fine for your tractor, presuming it's diesel rated.

It'll work, but a good 5w30 or 0w30 would be better for your engine. Can get 5w30 Castrol LL03 at your local VW dealership. Can get 0w30 M1 ESP online. Let's start doing this, and maybe the supply places will start stocking more of it (and less expensive).

Yes, it is diesel rated IMG_3150.JPG. I plan on keeping it in my garage (lightly heated). This would just be for the warmer months but as suggested, different weight for winter. I read the reviews on tractor supply for travelers hydraulic fluid and saw that some experienced water in them due to the gallon containers being stored outside. I plan on getting (Coastal) STP Multitrack tractor fluid from Autozone for hydraulic. Do you guys think this is good?

Run the Extreme 5W40, you can run it year round with no worries. We have been running T6 or Premium blue extreme since the first service on the 1635 with zero issues.

You don't want to be changing oil with the seasons, especially if your not putting that many hours on it. That gets expensive, is a PITA and is totally wasteful. Use a weight range that works summer and winter for you based on lowest and highest temps you'll "start" your tractor in. If your storing it in a somewhat or even unheated building the starting temps will be very different than the outside temps. Check it and see. I do agree that a 5W or 0W-30 will likely work best for you depending on conditions. Next would be a 5W-40.

Cheers,
