OK, after a good search on the internet, just how do you tell what model of Van Brunt drill you've got? Here's mine if anyone wants to help.

Count the number of disc openers and measure the distance in inches between a pair of them. You'll get a number like "17-7" which is the model number. I've seen 13-6, 15-7, 16-7, 17-7 designations for van Brunts.

Van Brunt made drills for many companies, JD included.
BTW: your VB looks similar to one of my Minneapolis Moline P3-6 drills (20 drops, 6" spacing, single disc openers).

Good luck
