Think I'd just drill a small hole in the OEM fill plug and be done with it. Guess Kubota already covered that issue, both my M's have vent hoses on the front axles.

Sounds like a good product.
I leave the dip stick loose on my JD 4300. Works well, and thanks to TBN for pointing out the problem of not having the front wheel drive vented. No seals blown out so far.

I can't see where that would be a good option myself.

Just works for me. Never wiggled out and does the venting job at no additional cost.
If I were making river crossings, then would not be good.
I do a lot of moving through brush in the woods, and having another hose to catch on brush and rip off might not be the best for me.

Your design is likely much better answer for the best venting.
