Ventrac 3 Point Hitch Parts

Hello to one and all,

I recently purchased a Ventrac 4231. I want to get the 3 point hitch working, however the dealer could not find the parts. Does anyone know if there are parts from other tractor manufacturers that are compatible or can I get universal 3 point hitch parts from my local farm store?
If the farm store route is possible what sizes of the parts should I get?

I'm a little confused, was this unit built with the 3 point but some of the parts are missing now or it never had a 3 point hitch and you are trying to install one now?

If the unit never had a 3 point hitch, it will be challenging to install even with the genuine Ventrac parts.

But if you just need a top link or draw bar, then the farm store should be fine.

They do or did make two different three point hitches... they do list two when I put mine on..... jim

Do you think the 3 point hitch kit for a JD1020 series or Kubota B series would work?

I looked on Amazon to see these parts and as they ship - no I don't think they will fit.

Can you make them fit - I don't know. Seems like you would definitely additional hardware.

I see a couple problems and there may be more but this is what I see:

In the picture I've attached, you can see how the Ventrac lower arm stabilizer attaches directly to the bolt that holds the lower arm to the tractor. The Kubota B series connects to a different place - a plate is pinned to this bolt. It is also on the inside of the arms and the Ventrac is on the outside. I think the stabilizers are a different hole size as well.

On the Ventrac, two bolts hold on the two lower arms and the Kubota just has one pin.

I don't see any specs on the length of the arms either.

Have you tried calling your Ventrac rep to see if you can purchase these missing pieces? I would recommend exploring this before buying any 3rd party kit.

I do have the manual top link, I use the hydraulic. one... I would check with Ventrac on the other four parts you need ... The arms and links are made for the Ventrac.... jim
