In the past 6 weeks I have replaced the in-line fuse that goes to my solenoid and a new starter. The tractor was starting very well. Then the Tractor Control Module and the dash lights wouldn't come on so I replaced the 50 amp fuse associated with the TCM and key switch. That seemed to fix it. It started well for about a week. Then it wouldn't start again and I replaced the 5 amp and 15 amp fuses associated with the starter and it started right up. I only started it that one time and then parked it. After sitting for five days, now the dash lights come on, but the TCM lights do not and there's no click when turning the key. I again replaced the 5 amp and 15 amp fuses. The starter clicked and the TCM lit up for a second and then the TCM went out. It never tried to start. After that it acted as it did before with the dash lights on, but no TCM lights on. I replaced the two fuses again and it did the same thing. The only thing I can think is that the new 50 amp fuse says "For most GM vehicles". Is it possible that the 50 amp fuse I put in is not compatible with a Ventrac? In the photo, the fuse on the left came out of the Ventrac. Only differences I see are the slight difference in colors and where the 50 amp stamp is located. I appreciate any help.
