I have an older (70's?) Verismo 8' flail mower. The mower is industrial with
3/8" plate thorughout and a sizable gear box. The shaft coming out of the gear box is stubed from the box at about 4" with a 1-1/8" spline then is joined to the rest of the shaft with a spline to spline sleve. The rest of the shaft has the heavy dual belt pully on it that drives the flail shaft below. The end spline striped inside the colar so the gear box and exit shaft with spline and colar turns but not the rest of the shaft.
I will need parts. New colar and new shaft. Not sure where Verismo originated from but there are alot of them here in California in the comercial nut orchards. They do not come up on Google. Likely they are out of business. Anyone have a lead for parts? I get the feeling they will have to be custom machined. --thanks--
