<font color="blue"> "Of course on second thought if I forgot and left the other ventless plug in there..."

<font color="black"> Maybe you could weld a T-handle to the storage plug that sticks out far enough to remind you?

Or hang a note on one of the attachment points that you have to remove to hook up the mower.

This getting old isn't as much fun as I thought it would be.

Getting old is not fun, however it beats the only other alternative /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That's for sure...but tell me...I've been retired for almost four years now...fortunatly it started early at age 54...but I still have not figured out when getting old starts...anyone?

Maybe it's like beauty...all in the eyes of the beholder... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That being asked, I can report that I have noticed that I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Could this be a sign? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I had a some left over 2x4s and plywood from a concrete project. They were used as forms. So instead of tossing them I made my own pallet rack. It's 8' high x 30" deep x 60" wide. The size was determined by the space available and the size of the implements to be put on it.
On the top shelf I have a small snowblower and rototiller (turned sideways and hanging off the shelf front and back). On the bottom shelf a larger snowblower and the middle shelf has the PTO generator.
It worked out great and cleaned up the implements that are not used very much.
In fact I made my own pallets from the remaining smaller bits of 2x4 and plywood.
I put castor wheels on the rack so I can roll it over to the garage door to get better access for the bucket forks.
In the winter the big snowblower will be swapped for the MMM. Prior to this I sometimes tied the MMM up against the wall.

Sure can relate with that. Now it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night.

Henro;
Can relate to your situation. Retired 4 months and can't remember when I had time to go to work. All I can say is Wisconsin has four seasons and one great retirement system. Thank god for direct deposit or I'd forget to cash the check !!

Rich,

Sounds like a neat solution.

If a man could weld well, which excludes me, it would be a snap to make some out of steel. Steel would probably allow for higher loads per shelf.

I've thought of getting some racks like that for the same purpose. (I guess I ought to build a shed first so I have a place to put them.) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Sometimes you can find them at a considerable savings if you find a warehouse or factory that is having a "going out of business" auction.

Every "going out of business sale" I've been to I've asked about the shelving. Everytime I get the same answer. Not for sale or Already sold.
