I have 3 5 gallon containers of each that I keep in a plastic deck box outside. With the temps in the 20s will I run into problems? If so would any problems be solved by moving it inside ?

What do you mean by "Bring Inside"?

The fuel will be fine where it's at.:)

I'd leave it in the cold! There is less chance of evaporation of some of the enhancers that that they use in the fuel for better starting.

I have a barn with a concrete pad and a attached garage. If its fine outside I would rather leave it out there. Thanks

I keep my gas and diesel out in the shed, It has never been a problem. In the winter I do mix my diesel 50/50 and use an additive.

leave it out there for saftey sake. otherwise there no issues in the cold except for diesel which should be winter blend or treated.

I store fuel in 5 gal cans all winter, with temps often well below -20 or -30. No problems at all with it except I add some diesel conditioner. For regular gas I don't do anything.

Don't bring it inside, that's not safe. I don't know what they mean by 50/50 though.

Good luck!

50/50 usually means 50% #2 diesel 50% #1 diesel. Most placed will have the blended fuel with a anti jell mixed in at the pump during the winter. Around here 60# #2 and 20% #1 seem to be popular. Blended fuel lowers the pour point at which it will start to form wax or jell. I am sure the folks up north will blend with more or straight #1.

I would strongly suggest you leave them outside as the insurance company will refuse to play nicely if heaven forbid something happens.

I use seafoam in all my fuels and you can use it in diesel fuel as well.

You can also use kerosene in your diesel fuel and gasoline but you have to measure it in proper proper proportion to your diesel fuel volume as it also works in diesel fuel to thin it as well for many years and is still done in some areas.
