I worked pretty much the whole day with the BX1500 yesterday tilling and working over the dirt for the new upper backyard. Granted, I don't run the tiller very fast - 1/2 to 2/3 throttle, and was usually 1/2 throttle when using the FEL moving 9 yards of compost and filling holes and smoothing. I filled up today. I don't have a guage on my fuel can, but I'm sure it was less than 3 gallons - maybe 2.5 - for 6 hours of run time. The way I figure it, I get 2 hours/gallon for most anything I do with it (except mowing) and one hour/gallon for mowing. Your mileage may vary.
