Hi every one, I am new here and have a few questions. I own an L245DT with a 1200 series loader, and the control valve is a Victor Fluid Power unit. I have looked into replacing the unit with a newer one, but have been unable to find one. Any suggestions?

Also, the unit has seven lines attatched to it, and every other unit I have looked into has only 6. The dealer quoted me 1400.00 to replace the unit, (a little steep if you ask me).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Drew

The older Kubota loaders were made in the US - I think mine had a Cross two-lever, 2-spool valve. There are nomally 2 lines for up/down, 2 for bucket curl forward and back, and 2 more for hydraulic supply and return. Can you post a pic of the loader and/or valve? - need to know where they all go. Some possibilities for the 7th line are external relief valve (would lead to a T in the return line) power-beyond (to supply hydraulic fluid to something else), regenerative make-up for faster FEL motion. $1400 sounds steep to me too. The valve can be had for $300 including built-in relief. Example at eBay: Joystick Hydraulic Valve Not sure what else the dealer thought needed replacing - are the hoses ok? Does the valve mounting need to be re-invented?
Take care, and welcome to TBN - Dick B

I have the same question. I have a L295dt with victor fluid power valve with 7 hoses, can't find any info on it and want to make sure a valve I order will work

Seven hoses indicates the valve has power beyond feature which is common on FEL valves today. You may have to order a power beyond plug or sleeve for the valve so make sure the valve you purchase has this option available.

With a little research I am sure you can find a valve with ports pointing similar location so minimal mounting change should be required.
