Here's a video I made of some progress of cutting down a massive jungle of Johnson grass. A special thanks to Earthtools for the parts to get this old 715 going again. This is where the sickle bar mower excels for anyone who has ever wondered what kinds of jobs it could tackle. The only problem is hidden obstacles that can end up damaging your blades. Mine has accidentally cut through wooden marker steaks, metal wires/ tomato cage and other plastic items. Luckily no damage was done as it cut through those items like butter.
