I have a Ferguson Multi Purpose Blade from ca. 1960 that needs a lot of work. But I don't have all the info I need for the rebuild. Does anyone have drawings of the blade, a brochure, or clear pictures, especially of the rotating adjustment plate and clevis? The clevis and the parts around it need do be completely remade.

Thanks in advance, Atli

I have never seen on like that. It is going to take a lot of TLC to get it back in shape, especially around the A-Frame and rear wheel support. Maybe yesterdaystractors.com would have some info in the antique implements areas? Ken Sweet

I have a very similar blade...it does not have the scarifier bar but it is very similar.....

The previous owner cut the handle off

What a really neat looking piece, looks expensive to renovate but I hope you can and do and post some pictures along the way.

Are your intentions to re-build to a restoration of the Fergy blade, or are they to get a servicable blade to use?

Appears to be a number of additions to this one over the years, deviating a bit from original. (Or do you have some original pics ot what this blade looked like new?)

Thanks all for the inputs and interest. The blade is actually one that I used myself decades ago when working on a farm. Itï´s rare in my parts and my plan is to restore it to it´s former glory and use it. It is a very useful attachment. But first I will try to get the best info I can.

Is that a picture of the same one decades ago, or a restored one that you are using as a guide?
I've admiration for you on your project, and wish you well. The one you have has taken a beating over the years. :)
But that will just make the end result that much better.

There are a few photos on the Internet I have found. Including the one above. But most are small.

I have a blade like yours but with out the teath and the wheel. I think you just gave me a new project, adding the wheel it looks like a good idea. thanks
