Virtual Get togethers to talk about the PT?

Saw in one thread that one user's wish was to be able to talk to other PT owners.

If you want to do the next best thing to a coffee meeting, we ought to find a Ventrilo server that we can use. Ventrilo is a free download that allows you to talk to anyone over the internet as clear as if you were sitting next to them. The cost is in the server that connects us. I use it playing games over the internet. The person who pays for our ventrilo server would be delighted for us to use a channel if we donated a few dollars each month. I do it using PayPal. If interested, we could be talking this afternoon. The free software is at www.ventrilo.com

For group chats, we would just agree to meet at an agreed time on the Ventrilo server. Otherwise, you are free to chat between yourselves at anytime. Any interest??

You will need a headset and microphone.

I don't think that we are shy. A lot of us are older, and think about how we want to reply. It's just that some of us check the computer once a day, and others live with the computer. A reasonable question, deserves a reasonable answer, and if one jumps up and rolls it out with out thinking, and is wrong, there are a lot of intelligent people here that will jump on that roll out and proceed to tell how wrong they are. This site does pretty darn well in solving problem and answering questions, and displaying pictures , etc.

I will see if I can set up a demo in the future and invite a few of you to test it. Word of mouth (no pun intended) will make this work or not.
