Visited my Toolcat yesterday! (Pictures!)

I was at my dealers yesterday to look at my Toolcat and was also able to compare it to the B series, since he also had a used B on his lot.

This first photo shows the difference in how the rollback cylinder is attached to the boom. It is attached much higher in the C and also looks more substantial. It also shows the change in the boom itself. In the B, it is a single tube shape, whereas the C has double members.

Rolando, be sure to get them to sell you a couple of replacement hydraulic hoses with proper fittings for those on the FEL, you will need a couple per year when they get ripped off while you are using them.

I just thought that I would warn you. Last Sunday, I was at the end of a stump removal job when all of a sudden oil started spraying all over out of the backhoe bucket cylinder. Right at the end of the job I had ripped the 3/8" 3,000psi hydraulic hose right off the adapter on the bucket hydraulic cylinder. No harm done to the adapter attachment to the cylinder or the hydraulic cylinder, but the hose was toast.

I emailed Ronnie Bowman @ TractorSmart Sunday night when I started feeling queasy about Hurricane Wilma and the fact that one of my cherished Kubotas was out of commission. Ronnie Fed-Xed me a replacement and I received it and installed it last night, less than 48 hours of downtime after the mishap. Did loose about a gallon of hydraulic fluid too.

That's why I warned you, it only happens when you are working and when you need it most! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here are the last shots for now. It shows the location of the radio in the ceiling, if anyone's interested. Sorry about cutting off part of the radio on the close-up. This is my first time using a digital camera, and I felt more comfortable using the view finder instead of the LCD. Unfortunately, I'm also used to SLR cameras where the view finder works through the lens and forgot that the digital camera doesn't work the same way, so the viewfinder doesn't give you the same picture the camera is taking with close-ups.
