Has anyone had any experience with a front end loader called a vteks. I am interested in any info concerning this loader for comparison purposes. It is one I am not familiar with and I can't find any specifications on it as far as lifting capacity and breakaway strength and if the bucket is reinforced or not... thanks for any response

Hi capt, sounds like an questionable product, but if the price is real good and it's a stout piece...maybe the comparision isn't too important..if spec's must be of higher quality....perhaps a Woods product would be better Woods Equipment Company - Loaders ..What kind of cost are you looking at? Is this a used attachment or new? If the cost is low enough and you can weld, add some reinforcements to the bucket yourself.

I owned a lesser known backhoe attachment that I was happy with, perhaps the vteks loader is made with enough quality to serve you well.

Hey Irwin,

The price is the best I could find at 2350.00 if I pick it up, 2600 delivered. Northern tools came in second at about 2800 delivered. I ran across the vteks loaders at Josef tractors in mesquite texas. They look well built and of course the seller will promote his product but I was looking for an unbiased opinion of the product. Whatever loader I end up with will see "normal" usage. Nothing out of the ordinary.

That is for a new loader. I have a brother in law that is a welder and could fix it up if necessary. I don't trust my welding yet... lots of room for improvement

Your welding? Go for it Capt! You will be a lot better welder when you are finished. If you are not happy with what you did, do it again. I bet 80% of the "Welders" on this forum learned that way.

Am I right guys?

Every once in a blue moon I see a good looking used CUT loader for sale on craigslist. One time I saw a good one, the guy wanted $400, maybe 10-15 years old, off a 20 hp tractor, not a lot of rust, hoses looked good. It was sold by the time I called him, he sold it within 2 hours of posting.:D

I purchased this loader and after installing it on the tractor, I have been very happy with it. The installation was pretty straight forward with no cutting or hacking anything. The bucket is very strong and is reinforced in the right places. Plus, the added weight helps the tractor overall. I also ordered a toothbar from Markam welding on monday. Just thought I would finish the thread.

You mean you bought this tractor from VN Tractors. Josef Tractor is just an individual that goes up to VN Tractors and claims he owns the place. lol :D

That really is a good price for a New! loader of any kind, did it come as a complete setup with mounting bracket and Remote?
The price on the Buhler I have with 4 ft bucket New is 3,900 No mounting bracket, very heavy constructed, I have'nt seen another that would compare,
Its weight is 775 lbs,......... I would have rather had a lighter weight built FEL for the size tractor i have, although I was one of the lucky ones to find a deal on a good used one, actually almost new one, for less then half price;)
