I just finished building a walk behind tiller .There's still is a little work to do on Guards , Belts and mounting the fuel tank but it works great . Here is a picture. I made it from a little front tine tiller , snow blower & a 5hp motor. It took about 12 hours to build after I had the parts.

.

Welcome to TBN.

I envy you guys that can make parts work as a whole.

I you're having problems with a post, try editing it rather than reposting, or if you want to add additional information, reply to your own post within a single thread.

Yeah, the attachment limit of 100,000 bytes does cause problems in the beginning for new posters.

Are you using .jpg (or JPEG) files for the attachment? JPEG is the best format to use. Your picture is not that large and shouldn't have caused much problem. If you are using .bmp or .gif files, you will have a hard time meeting the 100,000 byte limit since those formats don't offer .jpg-like compression.

Look in the the News/Feedback forum for numerous theads regarding picture size manipulation.

With your tiller - do you need a back plate to prevent dirt from being thrown up into your face?

I made the picture smaller and smaller by cropping it until it fit . The problem I had was the picture said it was 98 kb but it used 114 kb . I caught that after trying to post it. I 'am going to make a back plate but there isn't that much dirt flying at me right now so it will be one of the last things done because of time. I 'am working on the belt drive for the tines right now because I want them to turn on & off like the drive wheels for easy transport.
