want a \"first choice\"

hi i have heard alot about first choice equipment, i called the company and got a couple of dlrs names , seems they only want to support there dlrs, well i called the dlrs and needless to say they were not that interested in selling first choice, both of them did not have any of the equipment instock except for a finish mover... i live in southeast louisiana and want PURCHASE a box blade, can anyone help with someone that wants to sell me one,
le t me say this i am in marketing , it is amazing how little interest some of the tractor dlrs have in wanting my money, they have bad attititudes , some know less about the product than i do and boy dont tell them something you know that they dont know, at the deere places seemed they wanted to sell combines and 300hp tractors for some reason a 20,000 sale does not impress them, the average guy that is purchasing these smaller CUT has some money to invest it not for getting a crop that will feed his family its to maintain some property that he owns or wants to enhance.. so please i want to PURCHASE A First choice box blade any suggestions

...they have bad attititudes...

Hmmmmmmmmmm... don't know exactly what happened... but it does work both ways...

Believe it or not... when you "try a smile over the phone or in person"... it becomes contagious... /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

From what I've seen... this fairly new upstart company seems to go over backwards for its customers... and being new... are releasing/introducing "new" product as we write... it's possible these dealers haven't caught up-to-date and also every dealer doesn't necessarily carry every product by First Choice (or any mfr. for that matter)...

As time goes on, and First Choice proves itself to its dealers and customers... you'll see all sorts of implements available with that First Choice logo... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I'd call the factory again and ask if they know of any dealers in your surrounding area that has "stock" on the implement you're interested in... or if you've made up your mind to purchase it... ask how you can order it...?

Patience... I have good vibes about this company... I just wouldn't be too quick to jump on any dealer because some of this stuff is new in the "pipelines"... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Re: want a \"first choice\"

Here's a link to a thread in this forum about First Choice implements - Got My First Choice Box Blade and RFM. Why don't you contact one of the guys who've posted about First Choice and see what they have to say? I have to agree with JMIII. I've been very impressed with everything I've seen and heard about First Choice. I know when I'm ready to purchase any implements, they're going to be right at the top of my list to check out! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Re: want a \"first choice\"

Try Ken Sweet at Sweet Tractors at
www.sweettractors.com, located in Canmer, KY
I purchased a First Choice tiller from him a few months ago and it went great from Ken to the trucker who delivered it to my home in New Jersey! First Choice makes a fine tiller.

Good luck

Tom

Re: want a \"first choice\"

Hi guys,
Pieter and I just spent a long day setting up two displays at the Outdoor Power Equipment Expo in Louisville, KY. We hope to do a lot of expansion of our dealer network in the next few weeks. We sure do appreciate all you loyal TBN'ers sticking with us while we grow. It's an exciting time for us.

We are very willing to work out shipping details for folks without local dealers, but want to give first oppportunity for the sale to our dealers. Sometimes that means finding a dealer who can facilitate the sale by shipping from their stock. It just takes some effort on our part as well as you folks to find the right fit of shipping costs, inventory, and logistics.

In that vein, any suggestions you folks have as to expanding dealer networks, the kinds of dealers you would like to us to concentrate on, how to ship pieces cost effectively for folks without local dealers, etc., would be gladly considered.

Re: want a \"first choice\"

I also purchased a First Choice tiller from Sweet Tractors and had it shipped to me in Wisconsin. It's a great tiller and got it a day after I ordered it and only cost $90.00 for shipping. So I'm sure the cost to Lousiana would be much less. Great people to work with there, you couldn't go wrong by doing business with them. E-mail sweet@scrtc.com or Call 270-528-3323-Mon-Fri and Sat 8-12 CST

Re: want a \"first choice\"

The cost of shipping was $79, and that was to my door. 18 wheeler had a lift gate, the driver had a pallet jack , would put it anywhere I wanted it. Trucker called the day before, got directions to my house, said he would be at the house at 1:00 PM, showed up at 12:55PM. Call or e-mail Ken and he can quote you the freight charge just by giving him your zip code. By the way the tiller was greased , filled with oil ,and ready to go. Had plastic all over it to protect it during the shipping process, Ken did a great job as far as I am concerned.
