3-Point Hitch Want to add 3pt hitch

I just bought a 1972 john deere 4020 w/ cab and it does not have a 3pt hitch. I would like to add one. Does anyone have any ideas or is this possible with this tractor?

Does it have the rockshaft valve?
If it's just missing the top and lower links, try a tractor salvage yard.

If your 4020 was a rockshaft delete option(usually a standard model) you'll need a donor tractor or many high $$$$$ parts. I think it would not have the L/D mechanism inside the diff housing. A photo of the rear end would help.

there was a company who made aftermarket add on kits for these tractors. I think they were made in nebraska?? i've seen them before but its been a while. I'm guessing a google search would lead you to one...
